1. Nicolas Cage
He used to be a good actor back when he did Con Air and Gone in 60 Seconds, but now-a-days he just seems to be doing the same old things. And his acting skills has kind have gone down hill. Not really putting that much emotions into the roles. Which might be why I thought The Wicker Man was the worst movie ever.
2. Sylvester Stallone

Now this is another guy who has been doing way too many of the same movies. With six Rocky movies and four Rambo movies under his belt, as well as a lot of other movies where he is just beating the heck out of people -- Demolition Man, Judge Dredd, The Expendables-- it's a wonder if this guy can even do any other types of movies. Now don't get me wrong I loved a majority of those movies but he is just getting too old to be doing big time action movies.
3. Bruce Willis
This is another man who has down way to many of the same movies including four Die Hard movies with another one in production now, not to mention other kick-butt movies -- Pulp Fiction, Sin City and Red -- he is also just getting too old to be doing the same old stuff.
4. Arnold Schwarzenegger
The Govenator wants to get back into acting? Really? He is way too out of shape from his early days when he did The Terminator. I am hoping that he just means that he will be playing small roles instead of being the main character in a movie.
*side note* It is rumored that all four of these guys will be in The Expendables 2. Aren't we fortunate?
I would have to agree that most of the actors on the list have falling to b movie states or playing a supporting role in the films. Nicolas Cage for example, his last couple of movies were petty bad -- The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call, Bangkok Dangerous, and Drive Angry. He is making the same type of movie over and over.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting to think that these four actors should stop acting because I feel as though they are sort of movie icons. They are all household names and have a huge repertoire of movies under their belt. Not necessarily good movies but none the less they are famous. If all four of these guys are in a movie together it will be a huge success just because of the nature of who they are. They have a status about them that is undeniable. Even though they are ridiculous and maybe even horrible actors, you got to give it to them for achieving such a great amount of success.
ReplyDeleteThis post is hilarious! I totally agree with these actors that do need to stop acting. When I saw that you said Nicolas Cage, I was thinking "well, he's not too bad" then I thought about his movie Ghost Rider, I thought "Yeah he needs to stop." They have been very successful and have done an incredible job in this industry, but people grow tired of you. It is better to stop acting than to act in lame movies.
